Hensell Goat Rescue Care Farm CIC does not own, check, negotiate, or transport any goats or items listed. We are only providing a place to share information. All discussions, checks, payments, and arrangements must be made directly between the buyer and seller.
We always recommend:

Checking ear tags and herd marks for correct identification

Ensuring a LIS-1 Sheep and Goat Movement Form is completed with all required details — including both owners’ information, CPH number, transport details, and signatures

WHY WE DO THIS?
Caring for goats is a rewarding experience, but sometimes owners need a helping hand with rehoming or finding equipment. We host this free directory to support responsible ownership and keep our local goat community connected.
While the service is completely free, we warmly welcome voluntary donations from those who find success here. Every gesture helps us continue feeding, vetting, and caring for the rescue herd depending on us at the farm.

Can I rehome a goat alone?
Goats are herd animals — we recommend that goats only go to homes where they will live with another goat. -
Do you check the homes?
No, Hensell Goat Rescue Care Farm does not inspect or approve homes for this page. -
How long do listings stay up?
Usually 30 days. Sellers can ask us to renew or remove the listing at any time. -
Is there a fee to list a goat?
No, this is now a 100% free community service to help goats find the right homes! While a donation is never obligatory, if your listing is successful, a small gesture or donation to support the rescue farm is always deeply appreciated. 🐐❤️
