At Hensell Goat Rescue Care Farm, our mission is twofold: offering high-welfare sanctuary to rescued animals, and using the therapeutic power of animal-assisted intervention to support our community's wellbeing.
Central to our care farm mission is our Farm Day Club, running every Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Completely free for participants, these sessions offer individuals with additional needs, sensory differences, and social anxiety a supportive environment to learn farm skills, build friendships, and experience the calming companionship of our therapy herd.
From our on-site day programmes and community outreach to public seasonal events, our dedicated volunteer team is passionate about creating a space where both animals and people can flourish.

FARM DAY CLUB
& ANIMAL-ASSISTED THERAPY
Every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon (2pm–4pm), we open our gates for our free Farm Day Club. Designed for individuals with additional needs, disabilities, and mental health challenges, our sessions provide a safe, peaceful sanctuary to connect with gentle rescue goats, develop new skills, and combat social isolation.
