Goat Walking Experience
Now closed for winter.

Re-open Easter 2024.

No pre bookings are being taken until March 2024, sorry for any inconvenience.

This is a fun activity we offer as an activity to raise funds for the welfare of the goats and to provide income so that we can invite community groups to visit the farm without a cost to them.

Hensell Goat Rescue Care Farm is where farm life meets the seaside.
Pre book a Goat Walking Experience by visiting our picturesque surroundings near Sutton on Sea in the heart of the Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park.
Spend some time getting to know our cheeky goats on the farm by the seaside
Friendly, funny and often mischievous, our furry gang of adorable goats, including the comical Pygmy goats will be your cuddly companion for your
Goat Walking Experience.

Learn all about them, groom them, take them for a walk, even challenge your fellow walkers to a fun trials in our Goat Agility Zone trying out your skills of navigation and goat handling technique as they master the course of obstacles.

Loads of great photos opportunities to make memories!

A perfect outing for any age and animal lovers. Maybe even get to cuddle a baby goat (kid) at certain times of the season.

On return to the yard, you can reward them with some treats before you relax either on the raised decking overlooking the animal paddocks or in the picnic area with stunning scenery with a hot or cold drink and a slice of delicious cake
*Please advise at the time of booking of any special dietary requirements to avoid disappointment or non availability

The Goat Walking Experience costs:

£25 per goat (max of 2 people sharing a goat - ideal for adult and child)

The maximum goats which can be used in an experience is 5 goats.

Our Experiences are based on a one group sole use of the farm basis, providing a safe fun environment.
The interaction combination of animals and nature offers total relaxation and a feeling of well being that you can only get from the close bond that can be formed with your goat buddy.

All Experiences are strictly on a pre-bookable basis.
Paid in full at the time of booking
*On the rare occasion the experience needs to be cancelled and our income relies on funds from activities, we will provide a credit voucher for an alternative date but No refunds will be given.

We limit the size of the group to 10 people per session
(with the exception of a defined needs organisation where staff or helpers maybe required).
Other types of club or group outing needs can be made by arrangement)

Although we are a traditional working farm and not a petting farm park where there are usually concrete access paths around paddocks, some of the stoned tracks and car parking area can be a little bumpy or traditional farm meadow.
It is generally flat and has easy access to flat grassed areas. It is suitable for wheelchair users

Dogs are made very welcome but MUST be kept on a lead at all times and not be brought into the proximity of the animals or animals yards or enclosures as some of the goats have experienced canine trauma in the past.
We are quite happy for someone who is not included in the Goat Walking Experience to sit in the picnic area or enjoy the raised decking area supervising the dog/dogs
We always have fresh dog drinking water available, we can even stretch to a cuppa for the handler as they wait!
No dogs must be left in vehicles at ANY TIME
